About Me

A Compassionate Approach to Healing

For over a decade, I’ve had the privilege of helping people navigate through trauma, addiction, and mental health challenges. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can start to feel whole again.

Many people come to me feeling stuck—pulled in different directions, weighed down by inner conflicts, or struggling to find stability after a difficult loss or trauma. Together, we’ll work to understand these dynamics so that lasting, natural change becomes possible.

Your Unique Path to Wellness

I believe that healing is more than just managing symptoms; it’s about building a life that feels authentic and aligned with your values. My role is to walk alongside you on that journey.
I use a variety of evidence-based approaches tailored to your specific needs, including:

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing)
  • Third-wave CBT
  • Mindfulness and somatic practices
  • Motivational Interviewing

I am also trained as a Complex Trauma Coach and Facilitator, giving me a deep understanding of how past experiences, especially those from childhood, can continue to shape our health and relationships.

I have a Master’s of Counselling from City University Vancouver and a Bachelor of Psychology from Douglas College. In my practice, I’ve had the honor of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including people of different socio-economic and racial groups, those who identify as LGBTQIA+, and those who are neurodivergent.

I have learned the importance of serenity in life, and find this in nature. I find its beauty inspires creative expression. My free time is split between outdoor activities such as cycling and hiking, and indoor hobbies such as drawing, painting, and tattooing. I love animals of all kinds and enjoy spending time with my two dogs and sphynx cat.

Therapeutic Approach

Creating a Stronger Bond Together

Therapy is a chance for you and your partner to step back and honestly look at your relationship in a supportive and welcoming space. I’m here to guide you both as you explore what’s working and what’s not, and to help you take responsibility for patterns that aren’t serving you. We’ll work together to build healthier ways of connecting, leading to better communicationfewer arguments, and a deeper sense of intimacy.

I have experience helping couples with a range of everyday struggles, like codependencycompulsive behaviors, and conflicting attachment styles—for example, when one partner tends to be “clingy” and the other is more “distant.” I use a blend of approaches, including Relational Life Therapy and Internal Family Systems, to help you move past old, stuck patterns and reconnect in more open and genuine ways.

How I Can Help

I work with individuals and couples on a variety of challenges, including:

Emotional Well-Being: Learning to manage anxiety and depression, and building self-compassion to overcome feelings of shame or worthlessness.
Healing from Trauma: Developing grounding techniques, creating emotional safety, and understanding how your past experiences may be affecting you today.
Mind-Body Connection: Learning how your body responds to stress and trauma, and practising relaxation techniques to find calm.
Building Stronger Relationships: Healing trust issues, improving intimacy, and learning to set healthy boundaries and express your needs.
Changing Unhelpful Behaviors: Finding motivation and setting achievable goals to modify behaviors like substance use, gambling, or compulsive eating.
Personal Growth: Building resilience, finding meaning in life’s challenges, and creating lasting positive change.
