Group Information

Trauma isn’t just a clinical term; it’s a deeply personal experience. Join our supportive group to explore how your past shapes your present. We’ll move beyond textbook definitions and focus on your unique journey. How does trauma affect your daily life, your relationships, and your sense of self? Share your thoughts and feelings in a compassionate environment, and find strength in shared understanding.

Main Impact Areas of Complex Trauma

  • Fear-Based Thinking: Fear of pain, change, failure, success, and the unknown leads to
excessive caution, avoidance, and reluctance to try new things.
  • Emotional Struggles: Anxiety, depression, hypersensitivity to criticism and disrespect,
and a tendency to judge oneself harshly.
  • Negative Thought Patterns: Critical mindset, distorted thinking, and a desire to return to
old, familiar ways even if they are harmful.
  •  Difficulty Handling Stress & Conflict: Poor coping skills, impulsivity, anger issues, and
an inability to manage healthy conflict or stress.
  • Self-Destructive Behaviors: Addictions, risky behavior, and sabotaging success due to
    internalized negative beliefs.
  • Emotional Avoidance: Numbing emotions, emotional stuffing, escaping through
    fantasy, and avoiding uncomfortable feelings.
  • Control & Image Issues: Manipulation, control issues, lying, and prioritizing how others
    see us over authenticity.
  • Learned Helplessness & Victim Mentality: Feeling powerless, believing the world
owes us, and struggling with personal growth.
  • Self-sabotage & Overcommitment: Quitting early, impulsivity, over-promising, and
    struggling with delayed gratification.
  • Coping Through Addictions & Unhealthy Distractions: Process or chemical
addictions, needing chaos, and risky behaviors to feel alive.
  • Fear of Abandonment & Trust Issues: Deep-seated fear of rejection, difficulty trusting
others, and feeling like a burden.
  • Unhealthy Relationship Patterns: Wearing masks, isolating, playing hero or victim, and distorted views of love and loyalty.
  • Low Self-Worth & Validation Seeking: Shame, insecurity, jealousy, and dependence
    on external validation for self-esteem.
  • Boundary & Authority Struggles: Difficulty setting boundaries, fear of saying no, and rebellion or submission to authority figures.
